Want to hire a unique venue for your event?
Whether you want to host a wedding, theatre production, music festival or something completely unique please talk to us about your requirements and we will do our best to accommodate you. A maximum of 8 tents, 20 people sleeping in the Longhouse and 3 camper vans/motorhomes in the car park are allowed on site. There must be absolutely no camping or overnight parking in Cranborne Middle School, however the school may consider requests for camping on their school field, directly off of our site. Ask the ATC.
To enquire about hiring the site for a wedding please click here or call 01725 517618. Our own car park can take up to 20 vehicles. Additional car parking can be hired from Cranborne Middle School for £70 + VAT. However there is also plenty of on-street parking for free.
Additional Information
Outside event organisers hire the Ancient Technology Centre to hold events for the general public.
Any ticket sales or enquiries for these events should be directed to the organisers. For more information about hiring our site please call 01725 517618 or email atc@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk.
Due to the nature of the site there are areas which may prove to be challenging to access during a visit and especially when dark or during periods or wet or inclement weather. If you have any concerns regarding accessibility please call the centre on 01725 517618.
The Ancient Technology Centre is used on a daily basis by school groups, we kindly ask that you respect the site by leaving it as you found it.
· Please take your rubbish away with you.
· Please be aware this is a no smoking site
· Unfortunately dogs are not permitted on-site due to livestock (please contact us if you need to bring an assistance dog).
If you park in the School car park please be respectful to our neighbours:
· Please only park in designated areas, please do not park on the grass.
· Please do not smoke on-site
· Please be aware that dogs are not permitted on-site, even if they are left in cars, which we wholeheartedly discouraged!
· And under no circumstances let your dogs toilet in the school grounds!
