Neolithic Log Cabin

Although this building could be mistaken for a settler’s cabin from the American West, it is in fact a reconstruction of Neolithic building based on evidence of interlocking sill beams and corner blocks. The height of the walls and the roof design are conjecture; as with much of the evidence for our buildings, only the footprint remains.
